: What is SH!TAKi? :
A type of mushroom or something... But, we however, are not that! SH!TAKi is a Fed with a cool way to spell it's name and a Japanese theme. More so than that though, it's something of a passion project with the goal of producing a fun, friendly environment and open creativeness. Our aim is to make SH!TAKi a story driven fed that's as serious or a silly as the members want it to be. We'll even work with you to make sure your story is as awesome as it potentially can be! We like to think we're a creative bunch.
: Creativity :
This is really the key word in SH!TAKi, but "Creativity" is a weird name for an E-Fed, so we went with the latter. Sure, one could do Wrestle A attacks Wrestle B from behind, and thus sparks a match between the two, and that's cool, but we want to do more than that. We want stories to reach outside the archetypes of Pro Wrestling story lines and make SH!TAKi the promotion where-literally, anything can happen. That extends to character creation too. We encourage members to try and do more with their characters than simply be Face wrestler A and Heel Wrestler B, or Giant Psychopathic Monster Heel and Blue Chipper High Flying Underdog baby Face. Pro Wrestling is like art, its subjective. It can be whatever you want it to be! So don't be afraid to paint with as many broad strokes as you like.
: Law of the Land :
As fun and free form as we want SH!TAKi to be, we have to at least have some ground rules.
- Three Strike Rule: This one is simple. You no show three events in a row without an excuse or a heads up ahead of time, we're gonna have to give you the boot. This doesn't necessarily mean you're barred from the Fed, but you'll be treading thin ice for a while if we let you back.
- Original Characters: Maybe this goes without saying, but we only accept original characters when joining. That goes for one's gimmick as well. Simply because you have created an Irish or Canadian wrestler doesn't necessarily mean you have to use Sheamus or Edge as a Picture Base with all their matching move sets to boot. That's practically plagiarism sorta, kinda, not really! There's a big difference between "Inspired By" and "Based On."
- Clean Content: We're not saying you have to watch your language. Quite the opposite really, but we assume anyone who joins is mature and of sound enough mind to know what subjects are OK, and what's taboo. This goes for any In Character and Out of Character discussions that happen on the boards. We don't want to see any blatant racism or hatefulness here, and we would hope our members don't as well. Also, it's simple people: Don't be a dick. At the end of the day this is a game, and it's meant to be fun. Don't be the Party Pooper and ruin everyone else's good time with your shitty attitude.
: Judging :
we here at SH!TAKi have a very simple approach to judging Roleplays: Quality over Quantity. Believe it or not, just because you've written up some huge ungodly wall of text does not mean you've cinched your victory over someone who may have only wrote a 5k RP to your 10k RP. You can actually write out 10,000 words and still not manage to say a thing. So think about that before you start padding your Roleplays in an effort to make it look bigger and more fleshed out. Judging will be done on deadline by the three administrators: Takanori Shitaki, Zane Orion, and Eric James. This is, of course, subject to change if we ever get any more admins/moderators. (Or if we flat out need the help.)
